Wow they certainly have some nice stock with something for everyone.
Didn't see the 456 though maybe sold now.

To be honest, I’m not really looking, I just got sucked in by the excitement of the auction and nearly ended up with it.
Oh je**s!! Can i suggest if you're going the gazumping route.... You practice bid on Vauxhalls first, and shy away from the McLaren 720. I get the whole adrenaline rush thing but....

... Well, on second thoughts, your exploits will make for an interesting read! Can you let me know what you plan to bid on next!?! Not only because I'll be sure to keep my powder dry... But i want to know how you went immediately thereafter!!

I’ve bought many a car on the rush of adrenaline!

The best, I’d say, was the the TVR Cerbera I bought from Fernhurst in Guildford. Got diverted off the A303 when travelling to Essex from the south west to visit my brother, drove past the showroom, turned around for another look and half hour later continued the journey in the Cerbera. Dropped the missus back there on the Sunday to pick up our car and drove home in convoy!

one for any fans of German speciality. The Alpina version of M cars usually much better to actually use, hence 195k on MOT history page.
All front wishbones replaced + brake refurb demonstrates that our cars are not alone in generating wallet-emptying invoices. I do like the Alpina ineteriors, maybe because regular BM are so drab. Wears the miles well.

The roof mechanism sounds like a huge money pit "roof catches have to be released manually".
It has a hard top pictured. Keep it garaged and leave the soft top permanently down? Never even notice this item as my focus was the 456. I would have that car unseen.

Have you considered the one at Arun?
The Arun car has not turned a wheel recently according to short MOT history. Only emissions as serious / worrying failure. Could lack of use be a factor?
Does this plate suggest overseas property dealer C9NDO ?

There’s a thread on PH about that very car.
Thing is, spend a little bit more and you get significantly fewer miles and a better MoT rap sheet.
Fabulous cars though. Might not handle like an M5 nor have the V10, but for what a supersaloon actually needs to do, only an E55/E63 comes close. Maybe an RS6 V8 too.

I'm almost tempted to ring Emblem, but it might be a life-changing move if I did......
