Well,
I was forced to fill up with 95 RON fuel the other day since the BP and Shell stations on my usual route home down the M4 corridor had none of the decent stuff left. So I decided today to have a blast around the Brecon Beacons to clear the sub-optimal black stuff.
Had a great day, but something interesting happened just as I was leaving home for the journey - the car stalled at the second junction out of my estate. No great problem, simply restart of course, but this is not something I am used to. Anyone had this before?
FWIW, the battery seems strong - around the 13.5-14V mark according to the dash meter - and is firmly attached, whilst oil pressure is 5 bar when running and ~2.5 at rest. Seems a bit odd to me.
Not sure it could have any relationship, but after the key turn (and before button ignition) there are two loud beeps. I'm assuming this is normal although I didn't have it on my previous GS.
As stated before, I'm not too concerned as I have recently driven 1500 miles without issue, but it is always nice to get feedback on these things.
Cheers,
Pat
