Marmite - love em or hate em. my daily is my little 911 and i do love em...agree they will never change the shape and i don't want them to.

Which model Andrea? Must admit I find life without my 964 Targa very hard. Only a matter of time...

Anyone who hates the 911 simply hasn't driven one, they are brilliant. Anyone who thinks they're soulless is confusing soulless with competence ;) They are unlike anything else, engine in the back may make it a relic but then so are manual gearboxes, normally aspirated engines, steel car bodies, ragtop convertibles and driving without traction control!

I think the 964 was one of the best looking if not the best looking 911, would love a go in a 964 RS, back to basics no nonsense just you and the machine at work. 993 RS is also one of my all time fave 911's.

Had a superb minerva blue 911 many years ago...mint condition, very nice car, just could not get on with it...
probably the car I have owned for the least amount of time, less than a month if I recall correctly.
