Brake discs question

My 2013 Sport is due front discs + pads and rear pads. The rear discs miraculously have very little wear. I have found a good source for genuine Brembo front discs. Currently my car has the slotted and drilled discs all round. I am thinking forward here - should I get the drilled only front discs because I didn't see drilled/slotted rears on Eurospares and I would like to have them symmetrical when all are replaced or should I just buy the "correct" slotted/drilled Brembos and worry about the rears at a later stage?

Has anyone noticed a difference in performance between the two types of discs? I will also add a set of Hel braded hoses...

Have you considered @Zep supplied alternatives?
If not, have a look. I know I will when the time comes.

There is unlikely to be any noticable difference in performance. They put the grooves in to make it different from what went before.

I have, but the price of the Brembos is literally a fraction of the cost to upgrade vs. the improved stopping performance so the man maths doesn’t add up for now.

Fair enough, if you're getting a great price on the brembo.

The braided lines, good fluid and decent pads like Ferrodo will help with the feel and bite.

I assume by fraction, you mean 1/2, rather than 1/8!

We also do standard sized discs, rather than the 380mm ones, that are cheaper than the list price of OEM discs.

Also, as per the alternative parts thread, if the discs are £200 each, they will not be OEM, but a copy. This is likely to be why you can’t get them with the slots.

This is the part number for the drilled and slotted version.
