Just renewed the M140i with BMW's own car insurance.
Absolutely gob smacked being cheaper than the cheapest of the cheap no frills on the comparison sites, for superior cover too.
£459 for 25k business usage, incl.legal and protected bonus.
Played with the voluntary excess, and for some reason the premium was more expensive with a higher voluntary excess above £300, so stuck with the lower £300 excess!
For comparison, the likes of Aviva who I was with last year wanted £749, Direct line £909, and Admiral £1,060.
So for the high annual mileage and business usage, very pleased!
The Mitsubishi Pinin was on last years Aviva multicar policy with the BMW, so need to sort that out. The Multicar quotes with the BMW and Pinin were all a joke, all around £1,000 to 1,200 for both cars. I'm expecting to pay about £200 just for the Pinin, so in total £660 for both cars.
Car insurance is never logical!
