BMW X3 F25 diesel cut off relay: where/how?

Well it does say "about anything else"...

No luck there it seems, and you lot are far smarter and kinder too.

So with all the carjackings down here I've fitted a great aftermarket GPS Tracker that will allow me to send a cut off instruction via the app to the hijacked car to shut it down.

This is not hypothetical: two armed carjack attempts in the past 3 years, not fun. I resisted, stupidly, and ended up in both cases OK and with the life/car/family/possessions. Next time I've promised myself to hand the car over.

So, have the relay ready to go in, but I'm not sure in which circuit to place it. The tracker is at the back of the car, but interrupting those thick battery cables (buying a 300A relay for example) does not feel right.

Any tips?

Can you not wire it to some C4?

Can you divert the fuel pump power from the fusebox or after it to the pump, under rear seat maybe. I am guessing the fuel tank is under the rear seat?

gosh I blink and the tread goes wonky! you guys...

I thought about interrupting the fuel pump power cable, it is very close to my installation location, just under the backseat. But, Its a diesel? No problems with it running dry? Do these modern diesel jobbies bleed themselves?
