doesn't look too bad to me for a near 30 year old car assuming it is really free of rust that is
However! Speaking from experience you could put A LOT of money into that car to really bring it up to a good standard. Japanese cars are famed for generally being rust-free, so that's a good start.

The interior needs redoing (things like the missing ashtray aren't cheap), it needs quite a few paint repairs, that engine bay is minging and would need a complete deep clean and detail, possibly hoses replaced. Also worth bearing in mind that a great many parts are simply no longer available. I've spent anything between 1 day to 6 years looking for different parts depending on my contacts and what stock has come to light or is in circulation.

Of course, it could also be done as a rolling project over time, which might be a nice way to do it for an enthusiast.

Low mileage QPIII on ebay, a relatively cheap way into an old school Maser V8...?

Not everyone's cup of tea but I like it!
That's a belter. So stylish, and in fabulous condition (unlike the vast majority of the others that have survived). Not a crazy price either, given that really good ones can go for as much as £50k or so, and even a basket case for restoration is now at least £10k.
I thought about one of these before I bought my 400i, but good ones are very hard to find and the LHD-only thing was a bit off-putting.

If I hadn’t just bought the GC, I’d have that in a shot. Can’t risk buying it now, as I promised to reduce number of cars!

I suppose I could just upset Mrs KB a bit more….

Pretty much my thoughts on it Ewan. It'll fit in my garage, but only just... ;)

Anyone know the history of this one on here? 2.8 RHD auto. This has been in storage on and off for years but used to belong to a Maserati club member.

RHD QPIV for sale...

Really great looking car - got loads of attention when parked in a line of Maseratis at Chesham the other day. Met the owner who is a mechanic and has done a lot of work on it himself since buying it in auction. If I could I'd add it alongside my QPV.
