Brilliant stuff here. I also recall that you can tell if you are in the old east or West Berlin by the traffic light pedestrian signals - they are different depending which side you are

Not noticed that but even in the west, some of the older lights have the man with a trilby on. Newer ones don't have the hat.

Yes, apparently that’s the history kept in Berlin.. trilby is east (or the other way round!)
