Jorge, just get yourself a cheap Tom Tom and have done with it..

I'd leave the old Becker in the car though,as It's original and looks like a classy period fitment..which it is

I can't stand modern head units in older cars, they look really naff!

Each to his own on that. I couldn't wait to swap mine out with something that works. With better sound. Connects to my iPhone and that plays a cd when asked to. But I have kept my old Becker if I ever sell my car (not likely)

My old Becker Mexico with the uprated factory fit amp and speakers work just fine Steve, plays CD's on the changer perfectly....and as I'm not from the iphone generation, the tunes are more important..

Just bought an Ipod lead for the old Becker from Germany last week..Wow, looks like I'm kinda back in the 21st century then

I have a lovely naff Philips head unit with ipod/phone dock, BT streaming, USB, SD slot, it is awesome! the Becker in the Mrs car never gets turned on so poor it is!

I'm with dave on this one. the becker unit is good enough for me, and it "looks right"............just like the 90s nokia phone station under my handbrake!

I have a Becker unit BE4765 Traffic Pro for my 3200GT but supplied without a code. Anyone know the best way to get it? Unit is 10 button pre-set but actually has Land Rover logo on the main label on the side?!

I don't want to use it for actual navigation :)
I have an android phone with a big screen for that.

I'm just a bit obcessed at getting the car original so I would like to get satnav to work.
It's also fun to see the faces of my friends when I tell them that the tiny radio does sat nav

Marlon,
That has probably been a swapped unit at some point..?? You can try contacting Becker and ask them, giving them the Serial Number and Model, that might work, or try a car radio fitting company see if they have a code reprogrammer..??

Hey Fellas, what's an eyepod..??

Cheers

Thanks R - I was a bit peed off to see that logo on the side of the unit so yeah I'm guessing it has been swapped at some stage. Thanks for the advice, I'll go see my local car radio outfit and see if they can help.
Cheers

Personally I think the Becker looks very dated for a 55 plate car I had a more modern looking sterio when I had my f plate xr3i.20 years ago I think it's something that wasn't thought about when making the car. Just looked out of place.
