Doing some odds and sods to the 3200 today and I noticed there is a battery cut off switch fitted next to the battery,is this a standard fitment, as I cannot find it in the handbook?

Yes standard on the entire Coupe range with the exception of some very early 3200's.

If you have any issues first thing to do is turn the battery off for a few hours then back on again then start the car without touching the pedals and leave for 15 mins at idle then switch off and your good to go.

This procedure can fix a multitude of problems that get triggered in the very sensitive electrical system.

There is also one for the aircon and throttle reset which you will have to search on here for.

Yours has had some extensive electrical modifications to the sound system so it may have been removed for whatever reason but it should be there Beau.

I think it came in in 2000 at some point.

Remember that your car may have been a 1999 build and just sat unregistered for a while maybe?

What's your chassis number?

If you contact Maserati Classiche, they will give you the build date and cars list of equipment, give them the VIN and model year..!!
