Hi Dave There should be a small card in your manuals folder. The code you are looking for is the radio code not the key code (or indeed the CD player code) You will have 3 attempts and then will be locked out for 20 minutes or so. When you get it working you will need to reset the time, date and the distance units.

If you don't have the radio code card, call the dealer who supplied new, give them your chassis no. and they'll have a record on file.

Thanks chaps
Found the code(s) in one of the wallets behind some old tax discs just now.
Plugged it in and the multi media system powered up.
So will carry on tomorrow, I am sure there will be more questions....................
thanks again

Newbie and perhaps silly question... looking at my red code card I see that there is a bar code and beneath it a series of numbers and letters *****L*LLLL***LL (where * is number and L letter).. I assume that the code is the first 5 numbers? The only other numbers are a series 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 with asterisks beside the 1 and 2... and HITAG 2 on a sticker above the bar code.
