So after 18 months without a Maserati I'm back 8n a Gransport.

Lovely Anniversary Blue with tech cloth trim. Epic journey last Saturday by train from Portsmouth to Bradford then a long drive back.

Already booked in at Sports Italia for some TLC. Have a list of things I want to be doing based on having had several of these in the past (and the rest) but all in good time.

Proper pics to follow but here's a starter taken before my journey back south.

Love the GS.

Lovely, and I am a fan of tech cloth. I see no difference between it and alcantara, both fabrics, but for some reason tech cloth gets a bad press.

Good point. It is all about personal taste. The leather in most modern cars is closer to plastic. Now the children have grown up perhaps it is time for some nice velour seats!!

Congrats - looking forward to the updates!

BTW, as your signature indicates you also owned a GS Spyder, how would you compare the two?

Thanks

I sold mine through Richard Grace to MrPea, Stevie, of this parish.

They are fantastic cars. I generally prefer tintops but for a road trip a Spyder can't be beaten.

Did 3 big Euro trips in her and loved every minute. Millau bridge, Barcelona, Route Napoleon, Monaco, Modena, Como etc in the Spyder - great memories.

After 4 years just fancied a change and went into a Granturismo and now several Masers later, back in a Gransport.

Hope you get your Spyder issues dealt with and you are back on the road before too long.

I love my Tech cloth interior, for me it is all about the contrast, silver with Bordeaux just works, and everyone who sees the car loves it, don't think I could say the same for an all bordeaux interior, even though it may be 'higher' spec
