Don't seem to have them unless I am missing something
My nI rather doubt you have them but might be worth trying popping the blanking plate off per Phil's suggestion. I'll get round to looking at mine over the weekend.

Blanking plate has broken and is out and it just has a cutout for the iPod cable. Unfortunately no USB or jack.

2008 QP S. Too old for USB I suspectWhat I expected. Back to post 6 I suspect.
Now having said that I assumed you had a Granturismo. Is it actually a QP GT?

If that's the pre-facelift you've got the Blaupunkt NIT. No USB as far as I can tell from the tech manual but an optional CD changer and connectors on the back using standard ISO connectors.
Which means you should be able to use a Loudlink or similar or any other aux > ISO connector:
Something like this should do

Bose system. It's not here at the moment to check anything else as having the variatiors and alignment done.
Pics of the NIT? Not at the moment no. I guess I could connect a loud link or similar in place of the iPod cable. I will have to pull the unit for a look see. If it's easy!Got a pic?
If it's the Bose, back to post 6

Oh! Variators eh?
As a point of reference, and if you don't mind, how much?

I have the USB behind the flap but I hate having leads trailing everywhere so would rather have something in the glove box. I will have to have a proper search when I get her back. TBH I have been to busy just driving her rather than worrying about tunes.. cheers C.Well that'll teach me to read the whole manual!
So according to the tech manual there's a USB port behind the flap bottom right corner, so just to the right of the disc slot. If there is the chromecast type solution should work. According to the book as well there should be an AUX input socket, but it doesn't say where!
If the USB port isn't there (it's not 100% clear if it was an option, or standard) then I think you're a bit scuppered. There's nothing labelled on the back connectors that seem to be useable as a changer input

I used a bovee 1000 which is a Bluetooth device you plug into jack and USB in glove box. Works fineDidn't someone use some kind of bluetooth gadget from Amazon to stream music from and iPod?
Hoping for an easy solution.
I'd like to play music from my ipod/iphone in my Granturismo
It's a 2008 4.2 and has a HDD
Is there a cable or adaptor which is easy to 'plug and play' into the back of the head unit? I do have a parrot installed but it won't allow for music to be streamed on
Thanks in advance,
Andy
Hi Andy,
Ive done an install of a Parrot i9200 onto a friends 2008 GT. It works really well for his iPhone to steam music, plus the bonus of taking and receiving calls as his radio only had the SIM slot (no bluetooth).
He had a Parrot and Connect2 box for phone calls and ipod installed already which he said was really poor sound quality compared to what I did for him.
Let me know if you want any more details.
