Pretty sure I have an Autocar article on the 3200 from quite a few years ago ... I wonder if they have rehashed it....

P...is this a pale blue one?
If it is, it's been at Emblem. Saw it there when I collected my car.
It's a peach of a car - spotless example.

As they say you could be lucky and buy a 9K beaut....or unlucky and pay 13K for a supposed minter........hence the indie inspection to take away all doubt.........cheap or expensive are relative terms!!!

Can get one from 7k to 15k.....max 19k for AC........

Indie check on all of them.....a 7k could be better than a 14k.....

Must admit, I think it is a nice car! Was an interesting day spent with Richard Bremner and a photoshoot at Longcross and at their Studios in Teddington.

Dont want to start a fight but it looks like 3200s are holding their value better than 4200s.....

I think there are various reason for this Dem/Andy , firstly that many 3200's are disappearing , either being shipped out to OZ , or being written off , in my 4 years of ownership there are certainly a lot less forsale on a regular basis , 2ndly and possibly due to the more recent discovery of cheaper fixes for the 3200's in herrent problems , they can now be run on the same budget as a 4200

It may be the same thing happening to the QP Sport GT with Duoselect. A couple of years ago there were quite a few for sale then values stiffened a bit and settled at around 35k for well looked after examples wth the correct colour combos. Now you would have to be patient to find one as like me the owners I have met have mostly decided to keep them as possible future classics like the GS will no doubt become.

Good 3200s are thin on the ground and with maintenance costs being what they are why sell it for around 10k. After all if you can live with the running costs 10k isn't the end of the world especially for such an iconic car which has charm by the bucket load even if it does sometimes try to kill you everytime it rains. (Unless you're good of course)

Dem, this must be the most expensive 3200.....looking at what a AC is worth low miles or not this is AC money...

I have noticed that 3200's are starting to hold value if not go up a bit lately...

Does anyone remember that AC that was up for sale for c.36K a couple of years ago?! I wonder what happened to that.

Dem bought it to speculate on selling it in the year 2060...as a low miles barn find.........worth £500000 by then......;).....;)

Graham,
well done for having such a beautiful car.
It's a credit to the marque to see one like that.
