So auto transmission ,valve body and stall convertor were all done last year by previous owner
My questions are how do you increase line pressure for firmer shifts and less slip on boost to increase the life of the auto and make it more desirable to drive ?
Also is this auto compatible with any other car here in Australia as I've read its Australian made and possibly compatible with a BTR ford box hence easier to find info parts and a shift kit for peanuts
Anyone have info on this much appreciated

It is indeed a BTR box. I have one out at the moment so can get you photos of the exterior if that would help? We're not opening it up as it is working fine.

Chaps,

As it happens I am installing full paddleshift on my latest Caterham (along with a 301bhp/308ft/lb 1.6 Ecoboost :) ). The objective is to really put Caterhams flagship 620R in its box (and a Tesla P100D when I can find one!).

Its very very complex and only works with proper sequential gearboxes thats use dog engagement not synchromesh. To give you an idea the box I am using is a Sadev, costs £8k and the paddleshift and ECU to control it another £5k. Then there is a low inertia flywheel and race clutch that only lasts 5k miles.... need I go on??

These systems use closed loop operation and change gear in 35ms. If you can brake fast enough you can downshift 5 gears in under a second.

You cannot fit these systems on any Mas, not even a Cambiocorsa, without buying a sequential transaxle. Given its £8k for a gearbox which is essentially the equivalent of a Ford Sierra XR4 5 speed, you need not ask what something that can support 400ftlbs in a car over 3 times the weight of a Caterham would cost!

If you are wanting to browse the web you can look at Geartronics (I've used Neils stuff since 2001) or Shiftec. They are the market leaders in Clubman up to Le Mans level motorsport.
