Hi Steve

The car looks great, glad your pleased with it I spent many an hour and ££££ on getting it right!

How many miles has it done now? I think when I sold it about 18 months ago it was on around 74k?

I just wish I had been in the position to keep it and get a 4200!!!

I’m very pleased with it – it’s a fantastic car to drive and it has so much character.
I can see from the big folder of invoices and receipts how much time and money you invested in it!

I bought it from the guy that you sold it to at the end of last October. I don’t think he really knew what he was taking on when he bought it as a daily driver. He spent £££ on a major service and then only did about 500 miles in the 8 months he owned it. I think he used to worry about leaving it parked in public places so only used to drive it to and from work and then he was having building work done at his work and was worried it would get damaged there too.

I haven’t done that many miles in it myself yet as I’ve been concentrating on getting all the little problems sorted out but it’s just about there now (think it’s on about 77k miles now). The only things still left on my to-do list is get the wheels refurbished and to replace the passenger door seal. I think the latter was split when you had it – I’m looking for one off a car being broken as they are a stupid price brand new!

I’ll be taking it along to as many forum events as I can in the future so hopefully I’ll bump into you sometime so you can see the car again in the metal.

Steve

I'm thinking of going along to the Rugby meet on Fri 24 Sep.

Any chance of you going?

It would be great to see my previous Italian mistress again!
