Another off the list and bit of nostalgia for me, just bought this and in one family ownership since new, high mileage but on the button and drives like a new motor, just love the Audi 80's of that era as owned a few in the day

i used to have the 80 sport with the fake split rims and then a a metallic purple one like the one ive just bought, just love the extra 3 gauges below the radio, gearbox is sweet and just a quality car, galvanised bodywork as well

Could be worse, could’ve picked up the masking tape instead of the bog roll.

No, there was a 2.2E then 2.3E and a 20V all available as quattro and non-quattro versions. I owned all of them when new in the late 80s and 90s.

Here is my current Audi 90 2.2E quattro, one owner before me and 14K miles. Stunning early 1987 car

You have a lovely B4, DuoSound was fitted only the the previous generation B3 - noone really used it
