Without visually seeing it i'd say £25K or there abouts , has an engine start logo so the engine is fine , so presumably ingress of water maybe internal , see as its at Sandy my neck of the woods i might pop over next week and have a look , chances are that its been inspected at AM works service Newport Pagnell so i could have access to a copy of the insurance report pre bidding if someone was interested

Dont spark me off again , just getting settled to the idea of going a classic ,but your so right Andy , looked at quite a few about 18 months ago , made a point of making some new found friends in the Aston world , ideal because most live local to here , being as AM works service is only 3 miles away from me , but the guys themselves put me off them in general . Sorry guys but in my mind i consider them to be similar to the 3200 awesome cars , quirky foibles and prone to breaking down alot

Deep down in that crusty old heart Loz.....................just like a stick of rock............................is the logo.......

"MASERATI 'TIL I DIE"

Could never see you handing over the mantle of "Chief Maseratisti"....to anybody else on this board or any other............................

Just my impression from across the Irish sea!

Keith, yes, you have to have a paid subscription to bid. Loz has it, if you see something you like, maybe drop Loz a PM saying how much your prepared to bid and he will submit it at the end of the auction for you.

The engine start logo is pretty heavily caveated from memory....probably ok, but you'd want to err on the side of caution with that engine!

Just thought i'd bump this a nudge seeing as it finishes on Tuesday, now at £27k reckon by tues it will finish at £30k which makes me think that the engines sound and main real fix is just the bonnet and a few odds and sods , top retail for a straight one £65k trade cat d flood around £42K so still plenty in there but its the right Aston to have for a keeper for a few years

That rear wheel arch is going to be peppered with stone chips I'd say

Not if Urban maser owned it , he never goes over 60 , it'll be fifty now he's just got a speeding ticket for 58 in a 50 heheh
