As we live in one of the African Covid postcodes we are effectively under house arrest until further notice. Anyone like to predict how long for?

Well I can confirm there is no lockdown in Manchester, middle of the day the M60 was like 7am rush hour , thousands of cars on it

What possible essential reason would put you on the motorway at 2pm , no quails eggs at your local waitrose

It does make you wander why everyone's taking to p*ss!

New rule.. If say your not comfortable with any of the currant UK covid rules , and sign yourself out of any future NHS hospital treatment, your on your own!

Best of luck with that!

Thought rules no different to anyone else in the country, just to adhere to them rather than breaking them!
Obviously concerned over a massive wave easily spreading across the country knocking everyone out quickly.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but why is the Government all of a sudden so concerned with South African mutation? It was first reported 23rd December with 2 cases in UK. By end of December it was 44 cases. Now it is 105 cases. Why so much concern now rather than 6 weeks ago? To issue postcodes to the public and to be going door to door with test kits shows there is something here not at all nice and they don't want the UK public panicking over it.
Or am I being paranoid?

Although this change may reduce vaccine effectiveness, the current ones in use should still work, say experts.
I want scientists to be a bit more positive than "should" still work.

And for some good news.............The Isle of Man has re opened up everything as they have no cases now. Well done Manxies, I used to live in Port Erin on the south coast of the IOM for a number of years, I probably shouldn't have left it as I loved the place. Elderly parents brought me back to the **** of southern England.........Essex.
You'll never find a more hospitable person than a Manxy.
