I was in Belgium, in Arlon town square - had to wear face masks in public then before the rules were relaxed and bought a burger from a stand and started trying to eat through the mask. Wadda díck!.

Still got it, replete with relish stain on it, at least I know it's mine.

Worse case scenario if we and the gov did nothing... in my service our WCS was c5000, we had less than 50 because of what we did to protect staff and service users.

That’s an interesting point, I understand that the modelling is based in where we are today (including current precautions) so does that mean to come in under that we have to do more, when everyone wants to do less?
Whatever the numbers (there were 120k on a call I was on 2 weeks ago) everyone needs to realise that it’s not over yet.

I've developed a crackpot theory. Maybe in the cold wet winter weather the COVID particles coughed or breathed out outdoors will bash into raindrops and just fall to ground to wither and die or get stepped on. The wind will blow them into the air all over the place were they die and I've not even considered snow yet.

Sort of like the common cold killed the Martian invaders in War of the Worlds.

This is my theory so no nicking it and claiming it as your own.

Is that before you see the flying pigs?

I'm unfortunate enough to be on a train from Blackburn to Preston which is fairly full

i'd say less than half of the people on here are wearing masks , barely any of the seats have the do not use tape on, nobody enforcing anything

£fines and lockdown , what a load of ********

Most of the non mask wearers were in the 18-30 group , the ones statistically least likely to die or be ill so not really interested

a few had chin hammocks , more of a fine avoidance strategy than an attempt at compliance

whats the point of putting a city in lockdown if they’re not even going to enforce the law on a train

I’d have been happy to see a copper walking down handing tickets out , if word spreads Chantelle got a fine it might make the others take notice.

Bad enough when I went shopping with Mrs C. Got back home, unpacked, took our masks off, realised I'd got the wrong wife....

it‘ll be harder to meet someone in a supermarket , i saw a girl standing opposite me with the most fantastic eyes , when I got to the car park she was loading the car next to me without the mask , same eyes but she looked like she’d done 2 rounds with mike Tyson ,lips looked like they’d been pumped up with a foot pump.

Bet she was a 12 stone bloater with a magic mirror!
