Mrs (health visitor) got a message this morning from one of her team who returned from a family hols in Italy (infection area) and overnight has shown symptoms in the family... Thankfully she has not been into work yet but it is another plane full in the UK that will need tracing, contacting, isolating and assessing.

Regarding effect on business, just had notification that some critical valves on a project I'm managing are being delayed due to the virus and no direct flights from China to Heathrow.
I'm sure this won't be the first from a supplier, with so much dependant on supplies from China.

That's one of the really scary bits unfolding now as we do not have the manufacturing that we used to have and rely so much on the Far East.
Even for Toyota who I did a lot for last year a lot of the parts come from China.
A big problem when no one carries Stock as they work on the Just in Time concept.
