Not something I have thought about, but can imagine if you have a long commute or train with car parking it can add up.
However if he is better off, that is one huge travel expense.
Not clever to brag though.

I do wonder if there's the potential to wipe out as many if not more than 1918 , people live a lot longer than they did in 1918 so there are more elderly , we have better medical facilities and communication but if all that's going to save you is a ventilator and you can't have it because you're 68 and Bugzy Malone(I'd never heard of him either) is on it because he wanted to go out on his quad bike you're knackered.

This is a little bit of a weird one with some of the people caught in some of the self employed gaps. Many self employed people will personally get 80% of previous reported profits but could also be still working on 100%. So would be earning much more than normal earnings.

I’m surprised an ex combat vet like you has become stumped with something as simple as this. Wattie’s top tip for bbq survival.
Buy a celery stick, pull those really fecking annoying inedible stringy bits every cm or so out.
Insert remainder in salad. Floss with stringy bits.

I’ll be along with other top tips as the situation deteriorates.
(Off to buy some celery producer equities now)
