One for @philw696

Guy in France runs marathon on his balcony while self isolating!

I did two marathons yesterday now the sweetie cupboard starting to get low , we all gotta do what we gotta do to stave off the evening boredom,

I have this inner gut feeling that our NHS front line , should be likened and elevated to the same level to the Spitfire and Typhoon pilots of the 1940s , the survival of the elderly is in their hands alone , Damage Limitation is in the hands of the younger generations that seem to be flaunting all the given advice .................a good reason to label them the snowflake generation

Wait till they see scenes like we saw in Italy.... on their own shores. I am amazed they haven’t streamed live footage from hospitals around the UK. I would say panicking morons staying at home is better than morons spreading it around to more sensible folk. Get the army out. Lock the Morons in their own home.
Just seen pictures from Snowdonia and Abersoch , packed roads and beaches....I have concluded our nation has a significant proportion of selfish, self centred morons who don't give a flying F--- about anyone else but themselves. Come on Borris get the UK properly locked down with police and army to enforce it. Those who dont comply, put them all in a holding camp so they can all get it at the same time and rid this country of complete losers!
Sorry for my rant but I am so frustrated I feel like screaming to this lot.!!!

It’s gone huge, and rightly so, as people holidaying is ridiculous. Problem is, that this means they’re likely to shut down the holiday parks. My elderly in laws are self isolating in their caravan in Abersoch, as they can’t do so at home. If they close them down, they’ll be placed at greater risk. The Owain Glyndwr Nationalists are loving it.

Finally people starting to see sense. I've been saying lockdown for well over a week and now it looks like it is THE only way to enforce stupid people to stay away from busy areas etc.

There is a bit of space for them on the ‘not for active treatment’ ward but there won’t be for long.

Just can't believe what is unfolding.
After all the Píss taking on the French we have I believe the first person running a full marathon on a balcony full respect.

As for who would steal 5,000 masks from a hospital that's just despicable :(

I'm not saying that I don't think we need a lock down to get control of this, as I think we do.
And I agree that a lot of young people haven't grasped the severity of the situation.

BUT I've seen FAR more old people out and about than young.
Most of the young I've seen are out due to having to work or shopping for goods.

Old people seem to be in two camps. Either sensibly locked away, or carry on regardless. Other than to get food, they don't even have to leave the house!

Also, it doesn't help that the government and experts have been saying that fresh air and exercise is good, so if you don't have symptoms your fine to go out and do that as long as you distance yourself from others.

So now everyone is making use of the outdoor spaces.

I would say petrol pumps is probably one of the biggest spreaders now, not walking passed someone in the park.

I’ve just been out on my bike for 20 miles. All tho the lanes I use aren’t that busy they were definitely quieter.
my Son is in our old caravan too. So if the park shuts we will have 4 of us here with potentially 3 working from home.
im the only 1 that can’t really.
I see National Trust have retracted their free open spaces for fear of crowds too.
penny will drop eventually and hopefully people will use some common sense.
apart from work and shopping we have barely been out for 2 weekends.

Just heard they have had 5000 masks stolen from a hospital in xxxxx . This should be national news and those responsible made to do 1000 hours community service without masks on the palliative ward.

Did that really happen though, I see you don't say where. Nothing on news.
