what like a long weekend break in france ?there is a stretch of road going throught the sierra navada mountains in spain that is an absolute joy and would make a great "destination alpha".the bikers all go there as its a fair few miles long and wonderfully twisty.
always had a hankering to do that in a sports car (or bike) as i did it in a 4.5 ton campervan and that was still kinda fun.
I could arrange to take some fantastic images of anyone who wanted them as a momento for free.I would take one of My Nikon D3s and several long and short lenses so that all the cars could be captured in there true glory either parked up in some scenic area or going for it round the twisties.
Just a thought and probably a **** one but worth considering?

Definitely an offer worth considering Adam, are you coming on the Le touquet trip, for a Spain trip this year it a bit short notice as most willl have had their holls booked , and ive already put 10k on the GS in just 9 months

If you started an event for next year with some sort of itinerary im sure we could get 10 takers even if we stopped off on the way to my mates place 40 miles south of Lemans
worth a thought, what do reckon

Well, if i have a half decent car around then (and maybe if not)and there are enough takers, i would be more than happy to cover the entire event with a series of professional lenses and cameras, as with track days as well.(though the scenery would be a little less inspiring)
But if anyone wanted to portfolio there car then i would be happy to help.
I would then supply the digital images for them to do whatever they wished with (except sell for personal gain as i would hold copyright) they could produce a "coffe table" book or photos a canvas or something of there car hurtling round the twisty bends with them driving(or something) or just with an absolutly stunning car with a nice backdrop of italian-esk mountains.
I do have pro printers that can do all this but then some small cost to cover canvas, papers and dye sub film would have to be charged(at cost for members though)
I dunno...anyone might be interested in something like this?

I would be interested in a trip to spain next year...something a little different, sounds good!

I will be booking le chunnel for the 'almost le-toquet' trip in October as my car is over 5m, so can't book on this offer.

Regards,

Enzo.
