So much for me working all my travel dates out on making sure I’m back and out of quarantine for my 12th wk.
Our friends who had their 1st the week before me dropped into the vaccination centre last week and got their 2nd....

"You'd be no good in a war" as my old dad used to say.

Strange how it affects people differently, son had his first last Saturday and no problem, his best mate had his Sunday and fainted while having the 15 minute sit down afterwards, then the sons partner also collapsed after having hers while having the 15 min observation sit down thing. And had to be carried away. Wimps I say, or are they, I don’t know!

I can be oddly contagious. Apparently you get spikes of people passing out after blood donations. One person has a genuine reaction then a load of others follow with psychosomatic symptoms.

Or maybe they got too many 5Gs

Probably more scared of the needle which caused them to faint.

Had the 1st AZ yesterday. For 6 hours didn’t feel any different, went to bed and woke up early hours with uncontrollable shivering. I’ve never felt as cold, ever, even sleeping outdoors. Got up put on a merino fleece and polertec top, went back to bad ( after making sure sure I told the Mrs how bad I was, why should she sleep through ;))then 4 hours later I was melting. Don‘t feel 100% today, heavy limbed and just meh, however I’m much better than over night. Interestingly the good lady had hers 3 weeks ago, no side effects at all, She was leaping around all weekend. Out of her office of 8 she was the only one not to have any effects from the AZ. The majority of her office are a similar age and split evenly male to female. Anyway, it’s done, I’m picking up Skysports through my back molar and Bill Gates is moaning about Melinda in my head, so it must be working right?

An update on mine. I had my first on the 25th of March, wiped me out for 10 days, various side effects. It has taken six weeks to get back to feeling normal, mainly a strange sensation in throat, and loss of breath. I am due my second Mid June so will see how that goes, hoping symptoms will be a lot less. I was surprised as I am never usually bothered by anything, colds flu etc. I never seem to get.

What jabs did you all get? I see they have AZ, Pfizer and Moderna in the UK - I presume side effects differ per brand

I know a guy who must be the unluckiest man in the world

Most of his family and many friends are dead from Covid , saw him today and more have died , plus despite there only being a handful of cases in the UK he knows someone who got a blood clot and died after being vaccinated

I am wondering if he's related

If not the government could solve CV19 by putting a private detective on him and isolating everyone he talks to
