Just got a text from HR Owen telling me my "Maserati is very much in demand" and they would be "keen to discuss buying your car"

Yay!

But mine is meant as a keeper at least for now. The name of the sender is Peter Smith if anyone wants to try them.

Chris, I will consider it after Le Mans who should I call and what were they offering?

I am after a GS so maybe a deal is to be done.

No other details and I've not tried contacting him re. price etc. I've pm'd the number it came from, but you can probably get them through their web-site.

Its a ploy...just to get a known Maserati owner through the door to see if they can get a sale out of them.............how many 7-10 yr old spyders do they have on their forecourts........?

Once they are 3/4 yrs old....its none of their concern

But I would love to hear of them getting down and dirty discussing real options with us older Maserati owners!

Well, if it is then there may be data protection issues as I'm sure I would have ticked any boxes saying don't contact me, so how sales got my number and thought they have the right to use it I'm not sure...but scrupulous is not a word often associated with sales people.

Edit : replied asking if this was a targeted approach or just a blanket message, and asking them to remove my number & not send any more if it was the latter. We shall see.
