Anyone got a spare set of 4200/GS wheels w/tyres?

Chaps,

As per the title, does anyone have a spare set of wheels/tyres they could do without for a week or two?

I'm getting more and more annoyed with the alloys - one is badly scuffed and the others are not perfect (not bad, by any means!). I'm half hoping that I'll get some work in the next week or two, and one of the priorities (shocking, I hope my missus doesnt read this!) is to get my wheels refurbed.

I fancy using Lepsons, and while you can leave your car there, they charge you for the pleasure (plus, I'd rather not leave it there!). So, what I would like to do is get my GS on a second set of wheels (which I've been looking for, but not been able to get at sensible money/been reluctant to chuff too much for due to lack of work) - does anyone have any they can loan me?

I might just end up dropping the car off, but thought I'd ask anyway....

Woody, if you can organise collection and return, I have a set of 4200 seven spoke alloys in the garage you can borrow. The fronts are very thin around the outer edges but would be Ok to put on while yours got done.

Cheers Benny, I'll keep that in mind! I'd only do, oooh, 10 metres with the wheels on, so not fussed about them being thing.

Thanks very muchf for the offer, I'll keep it in mind - you're a good distance from me, but I sometimes head that way so its not impossible.

Me too Woody i have a set of 4200 wheels with legal tyres that saffrane borrowed whilst Lepsoms did his im just off junc 20 of the M5.

Blimey, spoilt for choice!

Thanks Paul, I'm trying to sort out costs and colours and when I know dates, I'll ping some PM's to those who have offered wheels and see who might be able to help out.
