anyone changed to new Falkens?

I notice Falken are no longer making the 252 which i think a few of us have used on the 3200 and 4200 with some success. They have replaced this tyre with the 453. I reckon the 252 had a softer sidewall and improved the ride. I am wondering if any one has back to back tried the 453 vs the old 252 and can comment on whether these new ones are still good on the car. My fronts need replaced and i would have gone for the 252's if these were still available?

I think the old ones were 452. The new 453s don't seem to get great reviews, which is a shame as I have always rated the 452s.
