I have a 2005 LHD drive coupe with 95,000 KM that I would happily sell you for £10,000 from Kuwait lol. I just paid £1,000 to have every single sticky button/ plastic surface refinished and laser printed.
In these socially distanced times we may have to settle for her doing a nice packed lunch.
As long as it's not pie and eel - has anyone ever eaten eel? Sounds revolting.....

I am afraid you have called this one wrong. I can understand why you thought it, as we all know there are fraudulent person's out there. I guess I may have come to the same conclusion. Lorenzo is actually genuine, I have dealt with him numerous times. I am a car dealer based in Hillingdon, Middlesex. I am not a Maserati specialist, rather a Land Rover specialist. But I love Maserati's, so I sell a few a year. The last one I sold to Lorenzo was only last week, a 4200 coupe on a 2007 (s3 eau). As usual, I have been fully paid, and he is arranging transport to Italy, once he has located and purchased a second one. Hence I think he was trying to buy yours. I am a ebayer seller since 2004 (thelongergame), and have great feedback, you are welcome to view and see my other cars for sale. On each of my ebay classified, my name, address, contact number and email is visible.
You are welcome to call me if you wish. I have one request though, once you are satisfied that in fact Lorenzo was after all genuine, can you remove his details and hopefully the post history (hopefully admin can help). Lorenzo is a keen buyer of Uk Maserati's, and this posting history on here will do him harm, as we all go on forums like this to check out potential buyers and information.

Just before I go, perhaps some advice from me to others who have the same situation in the future.
I have sold a few Maserati's to different destinations in the past few years. I sold a Spyder to Australia last year, a Gransport 4200 to a german gentleman in March this year and Lorenzo's 4200 coupe with final destination of Italy now. There is always a need to be vigilant and question enquirers from abroad. For me it is simple really, I do not offer any of the cars documentation (except service history) first. Only once I have received the funds in full, will I show the V5 etc. This has a protection of car cloning, but if the buyer is serious, and funds arrive, then you have more or less found out it is genuine. I than wait at least 7 days before a car can be collected. That is more than enough time to confirm with the bank the transfer came from a genuine source, is check able and above board.
Checking someone new is hard, unless they are vouched for. So all sellers have is google and forums, but always give them the benefit of the doubt first. They cannot do anything with your bank details, except pay you, so there is minimum risk in my opinion at that stage. The rest you can check with the bank before releasing, and giving yourself a few days grace after payment. In Lorenzo's case, he paid and will not be collecting for a week or two anyway.
Hopefully this helps some one else in the future.
Anyway, that is it for me, back to lurking and the occasional great info search here for when I have issues on my next Maserati in the future. All the very best to all members here and have a good weekend.
Phil if you want to talk, and I am not sure people can put up phone numbers on here, (but if not allowed, sorry admin, just remove number after), you are welcome to call me on my mobile 077762 01234.

Hi John,
Thank you for trying to be an honest broker in this situation. I really do appreciate your efforts. Maybe it is a language problem or maybe I am too suspicious after having given away a car to a German guy (for roughly the same amount of money) recently but I was indeed suspicious of Lorenzo by the words he used in his emails. Many others thought he was suspicious as well as myself.
Can you please let me know the website for your company and your companies house registration number. I would just like to see your business.
Best regards
Phil

Oh I am pissing myself!bugger me, just reading this latest stuff and what seemed like a scam is possibly not a scam, humble pie perhaps, just give him the bank details, job done and end of this interesting drama
Told uVery simple.
Tell him you accept his £10,000 offer and give him your bank account details.
Await the funds being transferred and do not hand over the car until they are CLEARED and 100% available to you to use.
(Then when they are, tell him to **** off and sell it to someone else!!!)
Seriously, you are in absolutely no danger sending him your bank details. The money will either arrive or it won’t.

Oh feck off.
Oh feck off.
How boring am I?Listen, the good people of Sports Maserati have given their advice and I have taken it all on board. Like one or two others thought on here, the guy originally gave some credibility by his Maserati knowledge.
Most people on Sports Maserati, (not boring people like you obviously) are fun people and I am sure would like me to now have a little bit of fun with him.
Please just put me on ignore or just don't read this thread any more. Pretty simple really.
To everybody else, thank you for your advice.

I’ll pm u my number so I can tell u to do one in person.Wattie,
Was I talking to you? That was a post from myself to Heathrow. You think YOU can tell me to "feck off"? I can see why you are disliked.

Don’t talk to me about being disliked! I’m not on this forum to be liked. I’m here to contribute and I’ve made some good friends through it.some even value my input.Wattie,
