But that is mainly because of the £/€ conversion I think. The cars are priced around €70k. Before the crisis that would be below £50k. Now that is around £62k.

Not really Ton...typically 10-20% dearer on continent......from start...plus 2nd hand values held up better too.

Those GranSport MCV's are the same price as a second hand GranTurismo. How do these two cars compare?
Is the GranSport a better car?

...not sure....but MCV more appearance changes than performance.......hence would take GT every time

It's a pity they didn't do an MCV spyder. That would have been exclusive!

Well, there seems to be a strong market for them. They may only be tarted up GS's but people look like they are willing to pay silly money for them and the spyder would have been even more exclusive as fewer would have been made.

People are willing to pay for exclusivity I guess. It is a limited production car and that sounds appealing.
I am not sure that I would pay such a premium for basically the same car.

But I love the extra badges and stuff. :)
