Most of the cars I have owned since the mid eighties have had alloy wheels in various states of repair / condition, even today when several designs are available from the manufacturer and fitted to the same model, i have the abitlity to purchase a car with the most difficult wheels to clean.

Listed in no particular order.....

57 Reg Mini Cooper D petal design
1980's BMW X spoke wired look (absolute nightmare)
1986 BMW 'M' 5 series
1976 Ford Capri Ghia
Maserati 3200 GT
Any motorbike - you cant clean the whole wheel at once, you must rotate it / move bike

By far the easiest

1997 Ford Mondeo ST 24

Fuchs alloys on Porkers.... Apparently it's supposed to be a satin finish in the middle! :battered:

With you on the bike wheels but add chrome wire wheels from my old MGB-GT (run away!!!)....

The chrome wires on an E-Type I had a few years back were the most difficult, until I bought the right brush :D
Still have the brush, and now use it to clean the inside of my 550 wheels, (which are by far the easiest wheels to clean on any car I have owned).
