Agonising temptation!

We had some bloke in a lorry knock on the door and spoke to my missus. He said I saw your Maserati & thought you want to buy some end of line genuine not stolen cane furniture!

A few reasons that wasn't going to happen. Firstly the furniture is dodgy. Secondly, we have no conservatory or anyone to put cane furniture. Thirdly I have no money as spent it all on cars & mainly Maserati's!! Lastly they aren't as expensive as you think they are.

A bit weird as we live on a dead end lane off a lane with us & 4 houses in the closest 1/4 mile. No idea how or why he stumbled up our lane.

Arrrrgh stop it you guys :D!!! My god you have some stunning cars. I would agree with many of you - IMO the QP is the best looking 4 door ever made, and by quite a wide margin. I include the QP VI in that too, it's still a beauty but those Pininfarina lines just call to me. It may not be tomorrow, may not even be this year (though could well be) - but I'll have one on the drive sooner or later. I told myself I'd be a homeowner before I was 30, and a few weeks before my 30th in December we moved into this place and couldn't be happier. The Mas is next on the list and I know I'll do it!

I saw Untouchables the other night. Needless to say it resulted in much window shopping before nodding off that night! They couldn't have picked a more perfect car - it's almost a supporting character!

Ye flipping gods. What a collection. Mrs Catman's 147 is likely for replacement this year. I keep telling myself a QP would be really *really* stupid.

Cool I had to look up what that movie was. Will have to watch that.

Ewan is selling his fantastic blue QP 2008 GTS- That's the one to go for - really really stunning. and with two tone seats for those that are that way inclined!

Thanks. I would probably go for a black or dark grey exterior. Not that keen on two tone interiors personally.

There are quite a few beautiful QP's for sale here, I haven't seen pics of Ewan's yet :). As much as I say I'm "agonisingly tempted," I think in all sanity I need to finish upgrading the new house first. We're having central heating installed (yes, installed - it's been an unpleasant winter!!) tomorrow and the rewiring is soon to follow. Then we can install the kitchen we have bought. Need to sort out dropping the kerb outside and laying a drive too! As soon as there's no massive expenses to pay on the house I'll be able to focus on fattening up the piggy bank for a QP. We're trying to do it all without credit, so far we're doing fine but it means there isn't a whole lot spare.

But it can't hurt to daydream and research in the meantime :). I'd certainly like to buy from a member here when it's time.

Fantastic QP interiors

Andy, I see you've removed the brown stain from the passenger seat since you took me round Brunti last year...!

OP - best of luck with finding the right QP for you, there are some very tempting examples on Autotrader at the moment, for most of last year there was an average of 80 or so for sale but right now there are 114. Happy perusing...!

Ooh that is plush! I had a great chat with Andy over the phone earlier today, top bloke with lots of fantastic info :)!

Does anyone know of a guide or brochure detailing the interior trim options? This is a minor thing, but it would be nice to know what might be out there in terms of colours, fascia materials and equipment etc. SWMBO has taken a liking to the Sport GT interior ;).
