I got my x-pipe from Marios but had it fitted at a garage near Pannal run by a mate. He took the original one off, sent it to Marios who made an exact copy and sent both back. The cost was about £300 from memory although it was a few years ago.

Look forward to meeting up sometime when we are allowed. There's another newbie from York way so there's a few of us around Yorkshire now.

A quick Google suggests Millbrook in Sheffield. But I have no personal experience. Might be worth looking on Pistonheads as well as they do more than Maserati.

There are a few of us Northerners that get together for Maserati drives. Some are the wrong side of the Pennines but despite that they have great taste in cars!

X pipe procured. Will hold off on fitting just for now. Maybe live with the car as is for a bit and see if it’s needed. I had some Borla back boxes on the last big engined car I had (Jag XFR) so I probably will end up fitting it sooner rather than later!

Well it’s definitely happening - put my old banger up for sale last night and in less than 24 hours it’s already sold.. just 3 more sleeps til I get my mitts on this!

It’s landed. Wow. My only frame of reference for peddling a quick car are the supercharged Jags of about a decade ago. This is comfortably a cut above. Some quirks and foibles that I’m gonna enjoy getting used to, mainly in terms of the in car entertainment. But by god it’s a machine. Sport mode in a tunnel is an experience! X pipe also acquired but I might just hold off putting that on just yet. Bring on spring!
