12500 is rather more tempting.

Nige, I would agree that a well looked after members car would be better than ab unknown dealer. Thats the beauty of forums like this, most of the info is here to find.

....and presumably if he says £12500, it might be possible to push him a bit further!

Would imagine he would let it runs it course on ebay and if no takers a 'deal' could be had. I just get the feeling it hasn't been looked after by previous owner. The miles are not that high but the steering wheel looks really worn and the interior scruffy. The 90k miles 3200 on the other thread looks really good inside and shows it's been looked after....For me it's all about condition and history...

I don't think it looks too bad. Remember that Berkshire had this up for £15k a couple of months ago (though then dropped it by £1k), and it seemed well priced then. It is now on ebay at only £11.5k - the cheapest AC I've seen....aside from that black one with high miles, no history, wrong wheels, dented door and other signs of neglect - it certainly didnt look to me like it had been looked after.

The bonnet gaps don't look quite right on the red one though - could be adjustment but hard to say, the front bumper is a slightly different shade, and the interior needs a clean.....but it really is impossible to tell from pics - if you're interested you need to have a look at it!

Yep Nige it is well priced but for condition but if I was selling I would make a big effort to show it in it's best light and it just doesn't seem cared for.

On the black one the wheels are right as when the AC came out you could spec silver of grey wheels. Most have grey but remember seeing a black car at Meridien with silver wheels. Think they look much better on grey...

Yeah, hard to tell if it's been neglected or not really. I agree that it's a strange position for Berkshire in particular, as a few quid to a detailer would have removed the uncertainty!

I didn't realise that the AC came with silver wheels as an option.....I suspected that on the black one it had lost its wheels at some point and had some 4200 replacements fitted.....the bodywork damage and lack of history screams "stolen recovered" to me, but perhaps unfairly.

On ebay it now says "If I have no bids or interest in the car by Sunday I am going to part exchange elsewhere. You will have missed out on a supercar bargain". To me the 'or interest' infers flexibility below his starting price. If he trades it in he'll probably get naff all.

Perhaps I'm turning in to a 3200 wh0re, but if I wasn't in the middle of remortgaging I'd be tempted to make him a cheeky cash offer myself!

I've got a feeling this is one that a guy interested in buying mine looked at then withdrew his deposit as it had no red key at all but I may be wrong.

strange that he is selling because his wife was made redundant but if it does not sell he will PX it for something else.....Not quite right is it?

thats tooo cheap i dont see anything wrong with it, 11k would have got that, ive got the same model in auto form with 10k less miles so depressing as was hoping mine would be around the 17k mark, hoping something was seriously wrong with that

Think it had a service missing Dem...one of the first ones.... and some of the paint work needed sorting.
