Came across this and I remember it was quite something at the time - precursor to SUV’s as there was only the Landrover 90/109 or the Range Rover at the time.

Always looked like it could go anywhere but no ground clearance and 2 wheel drive put paid to that

They were the days when the French still came with interesting and quirky cars..the Bagheera with 3 seats another one of them and of course all Citroens. When Saab made different cars, when there was Daf with the CVT, NSU with the Wankel. Not meant to be a “those were the days” post but now we just get slightly different versions of the same thing. It’ll be interesting to see if the advent of the EV will be a more creative period - I guess the i3 is a good example.

Neighbour use to swear by these and had a very similar one back in the day but his had stellar milage as he went back to Bulgaria or Romania in it every month

Nice car to be fair but as I have a XM 3.0 V6 here already the next purchase will be a QPV.
