A/C heater switches removal - GS

struggling to find a guide on this, anyone have a step by step guide, I’ve read they don’t just pull off. I assume you remove the carbon surround then unscrew the complete unit?

any help appreciated

Pretty sure they just pull off, but be careful, there is a tiny spring inside which tends to fly off and get lost.

that would be great if they just pulled off, have you removed yours?

Yes they just pull off, but as mentioned there is a retaining spring.

Use some molegrips but also a protective cloth and pull gently.
