Hi guys

I have just found a few minutes to check in and to catch up a bit with you all.

Firstly, I really must apologise for my seemingly lack of interest of late but this is because of very difficult times I am going through right now.

This really has been the year from **** for me.

As many of you already know my year started with the bloody Bank hounding me for repayment on a property project I was involved with. This I finally managed to do in July.

I have also had my mom in and out of hospitals (a total of four different hospitals in as many months. I have had to look after her affairs and of course to deal with a 101 different doctors.

In addition to that I have never been so busy as I am right now with my landscape business with work coming in quicker than I can handle it (Thats good stuff...........helps to keep the Maserati on the road amongst other things )

If the above was not enough I also lost my closest friend aged 59 to a brain tumour last week and I spending every available minute supporting his wife and family. I have found his loss very hard to deal with even though it was expected.
.
I have a vacation coming up in November and it really cannot arrive soon enough.......I am on my last legs.

I hope you all will bear with me. As a moderator I feel I have let the side down recently by not being here but just wanted you all to know that it has been due to circumstances beyond my control.

I miss and love you all and hope that soon I can get back to driving you all mad with my dumb posts and of course Maserati chat.

I dread to think how many strikes Matt has in store for me.

Hoping you understand and that you are all behaving yourselves and keeping the flag flying.

Best Regards

Peter

Sorry to hear all this Urby,
Life has a way of dealing a bad hand every now and again but with luck your cards will change for the better again soon.
Its kinda sobering when you lose someone close to you and it makes you think of mortality and the delicacy of life.
I had the same with a favourite Uncle in that he went into hospitol with a case of the runs and 2 weeks later he was gone! Life (or death) need no excuses and just...Happens.
Get yourself in order and let time heal the worst of it and come back with a bounce...
all the best
Adam

Peter....no worries whatsoever...there are several posters on here trying to keep your boots warm....plus even try to fill them, but they haven't quite succeeded!!!

:)

Come back to us when the time is right.

You've divided yourself up into so many parts.........and given of yourself, its easy to understand your absence.

Hope things gradually get back to normal and do look after yourself,

Regards,

P

Peter, It's evident from your post that this is a tremendously difficult time, so I will simply wish you well and let you know you have my sincere sympathy for the loss of your friend.

As for the forum, there's a chair with your name on it. It'll still be there when you get back.

With regards, Miles.

Peter,

So sorry to hear about all of these calamities. As you know life has away of dealing troughs along with the peaks. I remember losing both my parents within 10 months of each other 12 years ago. My work came under strain as I found it difficult to cope with the loss. But then things started to sort themselves out and luckily I found a path to just remembering my parents and all the good they brought to my life.

Will say a prayer for your good mum and that things start to make sense again.

Best wishes
