4200 SS Wheel bolts

I took a chance and ordered some similar tuner bolts to the ones mentioned a few posts up. They seem to fit ok. I assume it's the conical section that actually holds on, I guess they can't really pull through but I'm not sure.

I took a chance and ordered some similar tuner bolts to the ones mentioned a few posts up. They seem to fit ok. I assume it's the conical section that actually holds on, I guess they can't really pull through but I'm not sure.
If you replaced them original bolts because you thought they looked rough (but were still fully functional) what I did was poke them through a piece of cardboard with the heads showing with enough room to get round each bolt with a tin of Wurth silver spray paint, couple of coats and jobs a good un.

That was part of the motivation for sure, that being said I think i kinda prefer them. I will probably paint the originals and hang onto them just in case.
