4200 headlights

Does anyone know if the 3200 & 4200 headlights are the same unit? My lenses are starting to diss colour, (on the inside so won't polish out) I have seen a 3200 fitting for sale with the same paint colour as mine, but want to be sure it'll fit, as not cheap
Alternatively can the units be 'split' to replace the Perspex lense.

Doesn't look like the parts are the same but different part numbers does not mean different parts. Not at all sure if the 3200 came with Xenons (if you have those)

The units can be split by heating in an oven

Yeah Mine has Xenons, I think the ones I am looking at are bit to pricey to take a gamble if they won't fit, guy selling them isn't sure either. I'll do a bit more digging.
Heating in the oven seems a bit drastic.... I think I'll wait until after the Italy trip to try that, just in case I cremate them....like everything else I put in the oven
