Good price and free delivery.......just what does the 5 yr guarantee actually mean though......not sure many of us have a 5 yr old battery in our Masers?!

Buy Bosch, free batteries for the duration in effect?

Think it's pretty good P. I got mine from Halfords and asked them about the warranty. They were pretty unequivocal; anything dodgy about the battery, ie if it doesn't hold charge as well after a while, bring it back and they'll swap it. They then just chuck it back at Bosch, so they obviously hold by the warranty.

A bit late to help this time but Varta do a battery Part No 575 121072 or 574 402 075 these are 74AH with 650 cold start amps and has dimensions of 278 x 175 x 175 high. The height is 15 mm leass than most other manuafacturers and this helps when trying to install the battery in the space available and miss the relays. The price is around £75 from Tayna batteries 01745 823399 but other suppliers will also stock Varta. This model also carries a 5 year guarrentee.

i have not ordered the battery yet i was going to tonight on nightshift, the bosch has 780 cold start amps, so will order either the varta or the bosch. is it really difficult to fit, the battery in my elise is a really tight fit also, so will juat take my time changing like i did on the elise.

I haven't changed my battery yet, however all this talk of it being difficult I just don't get, it appears to be a breeze!
I too had an Elise before the Maser, and that was not easy! also my Triumph Stag you have to remove the PAS pump to get it out!
All relative to what you have previously experienced I guess.
Cheers

I've used Tayna in the past - they are very helpful on the phone, which is a relief. Good prices, too. Recommended.
I bought a Varta Silver (E44) which is 77amp, so a little more powerful (?) than the original.
