I thought I would give the 'heads up' to anyone looking for a nice 4200 Gt, that mine will be up for sale shortly, due to the purchase of my gorgeous new Grancabrio from Richard Grace. I would genuinely keep this car if only I had garage space for 3 cars, but sadly not the case. It has 65,000 miles on the clock, a very reasonable service history, and is generally in a very tidy condition. She has just been serviced at Sports Italia where new pads were fitted front and back, aux belt and roll bar bushes. I have owned the car since 2015, and loved every mile. Several years ago I had a local wrapping firm put two graphite grey 'viper' stripes front to back. These were pre cut so easy to remove with no residual marks. I know these will be a 'Marmite' thing within the community, but happy to have them removed after a deposit is paid if so wished. She has Tubi exhausts, which sound awesome, not over loud, but a beautiful tone. The registration number is MA51 FAN for those looking through the DVLA MOT history. The plate is not being sold with the car, but willing to sell separately with or without the car for what I paid for it, which was £499. Speaking to Ash from Sports Italia, he feels that £11,500 would be a fair price for the car, and obviously he knows the market better than I do. I have done a couple of you tube videos (please excuse the amateur nature!). Thanks for looking!

It would appear that, if you put black stripes on your GrandCab they should look like carbon fibre. Apparently, it's all the rage.

What’s wrong with it...?
Got to say, any buyer will try & knock you down, probably £11K...I think that’s the lower end of what these cars can do...and yours looks very nice. I mean...struggling to find much wrong aesthetically either inside or out is remarkable, given the age & ( not the scariest) mileage....?
Manuals are not common...
Id ditch the stripes for the sale but what do I know...?
£14K O.N.O. doesn’t seem unreasonable to me...
Someone will feel like they're getting bargain once they brow beat you down some, as well as actually getting one ! :read1:

Thanks for the advice, yes, I have probably priced it too low by the volume of enquiries, but will be holding out for asking price. It did take 6 months to find this car 6 years ago, and a massive credit to its former owners. It is as clean as it appears, and runs like a dream.
I will leave the stripes on for the moment.... I fell in love with a wrapped Range Rover years ago, turned up at the dealer to see a black 'unwrapped' car. He had it removed days beforehand as no-one was interested in the wrapped 'Aston' Bronze!!! TBH I'm hoping it doesn't sell, then I will have to keep it! ;-)
