Dave.......you reckon many of the guys on here have tin snips.....and or could use them......;)

I'll have you know I have a set, and I know how to use them! Alfa 2, is there a calculation to make? I have recorded the current camber situation, so I can be prepared when I do get it done. I think I'll get it lowered as well.

Wow,Tin snips and micrometers in one sentence,welcome to the Maser DIY section:)

If you were to lower your car on the spring platforms you'll end up with exessive negitive camber ie, you will need to add more shims to bring the wheels back to a more upright position

Cheers, Dave. Nothing wrong with accurate tin snips :)

I was more wondering if one know that your camber is (for example) 0.5' too much, is it possible to calculate how thick a shim you need to bring it back into spec?
