Took the 4200 in today , for front and rear bumpers to be repainted , and all 4 wheels being stripped and powder coated and baked in Black hi Gloss with very minimal flake, then in for fluids and filters service, and a full Valet , i have only driven it 350 miles this last year so i have eventually but reluctantly decided to sell it , been here before and changed my mind , but Kaz has given me orders hehe, that another project cant start till one has gone , should all be done in a few weeks so i'll post some picks , but i'll probably give to a contact to sell it , it will be cheap around the £13K mark only 36K miles and much loved and care for, Dont' think i better bring her back home i know i'll be tempted to keep her

Thats a shame Loz,Does this mean you will be Maserati-less for a while?

Fortunately still got my hands full with the younger one , but i do prefer the 4200 interior and the gransport exterior

But i have a feeling in my water that a GT is just round the corner

Now if that was a Diesel convertible Andy, she would let me go for it , then i could sell the Merc Clk instead , need to get Kaz a newer model, definately a tin top convertible , doesn't want a cloth roof , it has to be diesel and 2 years old or less , doesn't want a lot does she heheh , and as i said i can feel a GT coming on soon, ideally before the winter sets in

Loz,
May I ask how much for the wheels to be done. I'm thinking about this myself.

Its not particuarly cheap but they do a really good job, £70 per rim , including removing then tyres and re-fitting and balancing with chrome weights , ive done a deal for readies, both bumpers the wheels and the rear quarter repair of a keyed scratch £800

Ive gone for Hi gloss Black with a large but minimal flake , if that makes sense , got bored with Graphite and i think it will really enhance the look , but i probably wont get the benefit , i know that if i bring the car home after the work is completed , i'll want to keep it all over again and i'll never achieve that GT

Loz, you def have a silver thing going on there...

Yeah does look that way , but it was purely co-incindental and just worked out that way , now i absolutely refuse to have another silver car , ive turned away some good deals over the past 12 months just because they were silver , even the Van is bloody silver , now im bored stiff with it

Bloody hissing down here , bet its lovely in sunny Spain

Boss says so Enzo one has to go before another arrives, and besides with the extension starting in a couple of months I would rather not have anything too expensive hanging round on the drive ,with all those jagged materials and builders belts flapping about , you can guess whats going to happen ,

What would be my ideal is to sell the 4200 , get the extension underway, buy a nice project GT Turismo and get it finished just as the extension is completed , well thats the plan , but we all know what happens to best laid plans, come October i have a largish contract ( site work ) to start and my time will be limited to say the least, what with the dark nights and all , and the tortoise effect it has on me
