Well I finally bit the bullet, so to speak and sent my sticky buttons and knobs off to Lorenzo in Florida.
The slow shipping post COVID came into full effect and though it took less than a week for him to receive them, the return trip took the best part of three weeks. They did eventually arrive, after an anxious time, and I refitted them last night. There were quite a few broken screw holes on the black display back but I managed to fix most with PVC glue and used some washers for the one I couldn't. Lorenzo offers replacement back panels at $150 US, but I didn't need one in the end.
In summary Lorenzo does an excellent job and I'm very pleased. The packaging he sent them in was excellent.
