4200 Camboicorsa Reverse Stink

This has been commented on before and I avoid reversing where possible but it still happens after a few seconds’ reverse on our slowly sloping drive.
Conscious of the wear that this must accumulate, is there any way of lessening the impact - apart from the obvious?

Is it possible to gain momentum on the flat, then let it coast up?

I do try this when possible but accelerating backwards to fully engage the clutch can be interesting’!

I think most don't think it does. But I'm fairly confident after installing the FD DBW mine does fully engage in reverse. I still try to avoid using reverse!
