Was that down to endfloat problems or just wear related

There are plenty of decent low mileage engines around or you can have the bottom end done.

Both should cost circa £2.5k plus labour to remove/refit the engine.

I did the same thing (endfloat) on my 3200 not too difficult to do.

A cheap motor to be had here guys, someone should be butting this guys hand off!

Good call Nick, I like your thinking.

Strip it out (sell the parts, interior must be worth £500) slam it to the deck and stiffen it up, recon it would be blinding.

Do we know if its an auto of a manual?

I understood it that its just the engine forsale , and it needs a rebuild is it the whole car
