Hi Maserati guru's I have got ABS ASR & EBD warning lights up. SD2 code reader states Right Hand rear suction valve. Have any of you experienced these faults if so what was the fix.
Recent ECU fitted

Hand brake light should be on

Hope to hear from you soon

Regards

I think it is going to be the wheel speed sensor, the no ASR and ABS is a classic symptom as both systems rely on this sensor for their function.

The right hand rear suction valve error is clearly the wrong meaning for the error, what is the code number? I would agree most likely to be wheel rotation sensors, and this again is most likely to be rust and/or crud built up in the teeth of the little reluctance rings. It could be sensor failure like Zep says too, and you would do well to check the sensors and connectors for damage and or corrosion as some of the connectors are outside and get a lot of spray and salt water and all that and if the seals fail they corrode quite quickly.
what ECU did you replace? and has this error been present since the ECU was changed?

Only time I get that combination, it's electrical...battery slightly below normal?
Thanks for advice but have charged battery checked all earth points . 're fitted a new ABS sensor cleaned phonic ring. But still have warning lights. Have removed ABS unit and sent for testing to ECU TESTING. Now waiting. Cheers

It's either phonic wheels or ABS ECU.
