Where are you located LDM? I have laptop leads and reader. I would agree with sentiments already expressed, if the only thing wrong before was a starter motor and following the change you now have a new issue then it points to something not being correctly put back, as mentioned the things that needed removing, the TB, the Plenum, all the hoses, etc. If the starter is now starting the car first go but you are getting an issue with not being able to rev above 3000 rpm then the car is seeing a fault and limiting the throttle accordingly. Get the code read and then we can identify the fault. Before then everything else is pure speculation and you may do things that might not actually help.
