2nd Middle Age Crisis

I like riding off road, down trails in the woods etc. Too many people getting dragged under lorries/buses while riding on the roads for my liking.

If you take up mountain biking I would be up for that!

very nice bike - glad to see your doing this the best way, I did this JG - LE and found out after this is harder, more against the wind (not if this is true). best advice is do not give up, a lot of people do when they hit the wall and regret it after, I nearly did but stagged on and finished in just over 14 days (over 1,200 miles) If I remember the direct is just over 800 miles so which route are you planning and which charity are you doing this for

This is it. I have finally flipped. I just went out and blew £3,000 on an Italian Super Bike (Carbon Fibre everything) and am starting training for a 1,000 mile ride from Lands End to John O'Groats next September. Who said you can't have more than one middle age crisis?????

how is the bike and the training going ?
