2016 Gran turismo boot switch n/w

Hi all.
The switch on the boot of my car does not work to open, so can only open it from key or interior button.

Any ideas what problem could be, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Could be a torn wire inside the black flexi pipe near the left side boot hinge. Mine was torn.

That would more likely stop all the remote options, although it's not impossible. I'd be checking the switch. Make sure the rubber cover isn't pushed down on the switch and so on.

That’s what I thought originally Cat, but mine was exactly the same. Wouldn’t work on the boot lid when pressed, but worked fine on the remote key fob. Turned out to be a broken wire inside that flexi pipe.
